What’s the first thing people say when you say you’re starting healthy eating, i.e.: a diet….

Make sure you eat breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day!

What if you can’t stomach breakfast first thing in the morning? I start work at half 7 (am) most days and the thought of breakfast at half 6 before I leave the house is more I can bear.

So first I started with overnight oats… nutritious, filling and tasty. But still way too heavy in a morning.

So my next option – smoothies. First I put everything in a jug and used an old stick blender. It worked to a degree, but what I found was a tasty, nutritious, filling meal that didn’t lie heavily on my stomach, and kept me full till lunchtime. Win win.

So my next purchase was my Nutri Ninja!! At £69.99 from Amazon it was cheaper than anywhere else but still a hefty price tag. But, in my opinion, well worth it!!

And now I can drink my breakfast on my commute giving me a bit of extra time in the morning before I eat, but I still get my nutritious meal! 😁😍

The Start Of My Journey!

I’ve started and restarted my weight loss journey so many times over the past few years; I’ve done weight watchers, slimming world, atkins, even fad diets that give instant results you can’t maintain; slim fast, cabbage soup diet, mash potato diet – that one was the most ridiculous! You name it I’ve probably tried it.

So what have they taught me… there’s no quick fix.

So I’ve got to a point now where I’m ready to invest 100%, and I feel like I’m already over the first hurdle.

So as the title suggests I have 75lb to lose in order to be “healthy”. If I feel healthy and good in myself before I hit this target I’ll be happy with that!

This is a moveable goal and my guide is going to be how I feel in myself!
